Dee Ble is drinking a Sneck Lifter by Jennings Brewery
#1001Beers No.694 (all edns) 29 May 2023. Slightly sweet 👃 (speculoos biscuit/ caramelised red 🍎), maybe as it's 7yrs old. Gentle carbonation. Brown sugar-y, burnt cindersbutterscotch. 👅: dried coffee, white pepper, a little tea at the end. Big...
Dee Ble is drinking a St-Ambroise Pale Ale (Blonde) by Brasserie McAuslan (St-Ambroise)
🇨🇦 #1001Beers No.693 (all edns) 29 May 2023. 3 years past its BBd! Sweet lager malt throughout; some of that=from its age, ie oxidisation? 👃: prune/plum-my sweetness (or baked banana). End: tinned peaches, apricot jam. Thanks Patrik!
Dee Ble is drinking a Kellerbier by Brauerei Roppelt Stiebarlimbach
Lovely bready Kellerbier that lingers longet than usual. Nose of schnitzel sandwich and straw. Mouth is more like wholegrain crackers, which are joined on a wavy finish by some herby salad leaf. Good recommendation from Die Fränkische Bierbotschaft.

Dee Ble is drinking a Freigeist by Brauerei Bischofshof
This is very much like Birra Moretti non-alco - has that candy stick and raw yellow pepper vibe. Not that much like the original, which has much subtler helles notes. In other words, not a straight swap to stop producing "Zwickl"+produce only "Freigeist"
Purchased at Die Bierothek Regensburg
Dee Ble is drinking a Buttenheimer Kellerbier by St. Georgen Bräu
Really nice, and unexpectedly sweet malt. Like a salted caramel version of a Kentish ale (similar toffee malt end). But starts with an almost orange polenta cake/saké nose, and slightly seville orange mouth. Still has a malty lager bed throughout it.
Purchased at Fränky
Dee Ble: ...Big thanks to lovely chap Phil for this 2015/2016 vintage.
