Kevie Macphail is drinking a Belgian Strong Beer by Delirium - Huyghe Brewery at Untappd at Home
A malty sweetness develops into floral notes with distinct cardamom flavours. All with a nice boozy warmth throughout.

Kevie Macphail is drinking a Bishops Finger by Shepherd Neame at Untappd at Home
Sweet malty notes develop into toffee flavours. This continues to dark dried fruits and then a biscuity note. Quite pleasant and would be 4.75 if the mouth feel were not too weak for this style of beer.

Kevie Macphail is drinking a Hit The Lip by Cromarty Brewing Co. at Moonshine Inverness
A refreshing light beer on a warm day and it went down well with a sandwich. It has bitter hoppiness on the first taste and there are citrus fruits in the back end. It's perfectly drinkable but doesn't stand out in a crowded marketplace.

Kevie Macphail is drinking a Newcastle Brown Ale by John Smith's at Untappd at Home
Malty sweetness develops into notes of burnt caramel. I remember loving this years ago, but sadly these days, whilst perfectly drinkable, is definitely more mellow and watered down compared to the original.
Notes of malty sweetness develop into notes of dark fruit which then turns to banana that lingers. Lovely beer: highly recommended.
