Darn good, correct to style although could be a tad hoppier / punchier. Well balanced between pale malt and floral hops. Clean, crisp, clear, effervescent out of the can. Lovely example of the style. No esters, no diacetyl. Tasty stuff!

Bottled 21 days ago. Still as marvelous as ever. $15 a bottle at this SFO airport bar, but the beer itself is perfect. Always happy to have a Pliny.

End of an era. Today Anchor Steam is unremarkable, but respect must be paid. An easy drinking, lightly estery and moderately malty beer, some hop bitterness present but isn't citrusy or resiny. Probably this wasn't meant to be analyzed, simply enjoyed.

Very little here to review. Classic island style 'pilsner'. Could be the light version for all I can tell. Think a thinner Miller High Life. Hydrating, crisp, but not much else. Mild grain finish. Probably best used in a chelada.
