The hop bitterness really cuts in to what could be a simple strong ale, find the overall less astringent so enjoying fresh and I am sure the same over the years.

Flavor really helping hide the ABV. There is tequila on the nose but primarily stout notes with strong molasses in the flavor at first. Red wine residual to finish and just another stellar Anniversary release.
