Kenji Wilkinson: Big tropical citrus aroma. Orange rind and flesh, the tropical is harder to place, part of me leans towards papaya, but it could be passion fruit. Some light grassy. Smells like it has some tang.
Kenji Wilkinson: Drinks full bodied and juicy but not thick. Smooth and easy juiciness. More orange pith in the flavor, some spice, lower bitterness but with some bite (last part could be alcohol).
Kenji Wilkinson: Abv well disguised; drinks like a smaller beer (but with tons of flavor). Malt is more of a background player but there’s some biscuit and also some sweet pastry. Towards the finish is spice but also orange juice (maybe some grapefruit?)
Kenji Wilkinson: Add the aroma and there’s a touch of tropical tiki cocktail to the experience.
Kenji Wilkinson: Finish is lightly green but not at all vegetal. Clean bitterness, trace of alcohol warmth. Bright and pithy.
Kenji Wilkinson: Overall, a familiar flavor profile but very very good in execution.

Kenji Wilkinson: Pkg: 1/24/24. Single can gifted from my favorite siste, Emiko.
Kenji Wilkinson: Pleasing bready biscuity aroma. Lightly floral? No idea what hops are supposed to be in this but subtle in the aroma.
Kenji Wilkinson: Drinks light with biscuity malt up front. Some light but notable sweetness for a rice lager. Clean, straightforward malt most of the way through. Very low bitterness.
Kenji Wilkinson: I’m having trouble picking out any distinctive hop character at all.
Kenji Wilkinson: Finish is pleasant, bready. Trace of bitterness. None of that rice lager tang.
Kenji Wilkinson: Pkg: 1/9/24. Thanks to my sister, Emiko, for gifting this beer.
Kenji Wilkinson: Sweet aroma, caramel, licorice, lightly toasted.
Kenji Wilkinson: Drinks moderately sweet, toasted sweet breads, brittle candy, some dried bread crusts in the mid palate. Low bitterness but some green and anise hop flavors.
Kenji Wilkinson: Pkg: 2/19/24.
Kenji Wilkinson: Thanks to Jeffery R. for gifting this beer. I like it! Sorry about the remote tasting mix up.
Kenji Wilkinson: Lighter aroma of some green herbs and gentle roast. Pleasant.
Kenji Wilkinson: Drinks flavorful, lighter body, dark bread crusts, nutty, pretty dry with only trace sweetness towards the finish. Roast is quite low. Medium low bitterness.
Kenji Wilkinson: Finish is where the roast shows up in the flavor. Also some lingering bitterness, bit of garden cracker (minus the salt of course). An acrid note sticks around.
Kenji Wilkinson: Overall, I think the flavor is quite good with some imperfections in the finish.
Kenji Wilkinson: Thanks to my good friend Jeffery R. for gifting and remote sharing this interesting beer
