This is a very good Porter. Straightforward, with hints of vanillla, chocolate and coffee. Very well balanced with the vanillla slightly forward and nothing overpowering. Fortifying but not going to overpower most food. Good good good.

I like this one a lot. Lots of crusty bread notes with a hint of toffee goodness. It achieves this without excessive sweetness. A little overdone toast on the finish but no lingering hop bitterness and very little dwells after finish. Pairs with food.

Haven't had a lot of Barleywine in my life and none in years. Lots of fig. "Fig-forward" would be an understatement! It is quite sweet, almost as if the figs were crushed and blended with honey. Sourdough bread notes throughout. Relatively clean finish.

This is a decent strong ale that could have been great had they not over-hopped it. Rich foamy head that clings to the glass. Great carbonation! Strong malt character with pleasant caramel and overdone toast notes. Hop bite hits and overpowers everything.
