Nick Law is drinking a Maccan by The White Hag Irish Brewing Company
Utterly lovely! Everything in perfect balance. Boozy, sweet but not too much. Great mouth feel. Lots of malt flavour intermingled with the barrel wood vanilla aromas. Spot on 👌
Nick Law is drinking a Beeching Axe IPA by Harrogate Brewing Co
Crispy, light carbonation. Good balance of bitterness and malt sweetness. Fruity hops. Slight woody flavour on the end. Perfectly refreshing IPA, probably more traditional style than modern IPA but decent beer nonetheless.

Lovely. Soft, fruity, pink grapefruit (as described), spritzy and incredibly moreish for a 7% beer. Haven’t had too many Beak IPAs before but they’re always very enjoyable when I do.

As ever, totally sublime. Lovely rounded Citra hop character, slight sulphur on the nose, creamy mouthfeel. I wish there were more cask Kernel in these parts as I imagine it being just amazing served from a beer engine. Beautiful liquid!

Expected more hoppiness from the hop bill, however, regardless, this is still a very nice drop. Lovely malt backbone underpinned by a solid bitterness and some blackberry notes. Enjoying it very much.
