It's not light but doesn't drink like a 10.5%. robust & complex scottish malt notes can really taste the barley here. Caramel, toffee, some fruity sweetness. Whisky barrel comes in a tad bit on the nose & mildly on palate w/ oak tannin. Mild Chocolate

Nik Buys is drinking a Slow Rush (2023) by Crux Fermentation Project at Untappd at Home
'24 edition @12.2%. Rich & full bodied, creamy. Mild hints of rum. Cinnamon, nutmeg, and orange peel are present but not overpowering. Ends sweet with the lactose/milk sugar. Malt complexity comes out on the finish and as it warms.
