Pete Knox: I know it's not what this beer is meant for, but I would love to see what this tastes like at a higher ABV. I'm sure it would rate at least a 4. Protect ya neck!!!! ;)

Amber :) with tan fluffy head. Sweet, malty, bread-like aroma. Taste adds warm spice notes. A little bitterness on the finish which adds to the complexity. 6.1% ABV, but tastes like it's a bit stronger, so a good session beer.As it warms, gets spicier.

Copper/amber, tan fluffy head. Aroma is sweet and malty. Similar taste, with some subtle biscuit notes on the backend. Very flavorful for onky 4%ABV. Collab with a brewery in Chatham, and name-drops Wu Tang Clan on the can :). Support your local beers!

Hazy gold, white foamy head. Citrus and piney aroma. Taste is hoppy and piney plus citrus, very refreshing. Will be even better come summer. Just enough bitterness to keep it interesting, more as it warms . Great example of a classic New England IPA.
Pete Knox is drinking a Conway's Irish Ale by Great Lakes Brewing Company at Untappd at Home
Copper red, tan foamy head. Sweet and creamy malty aroma. Taste is nalty, with a little bit of subtle baking spice and biscuit. Clean and refreshing, not much bitterness. As it warms, a roasted taste starts to emerge, like toasted grain. Great Irish red.
Pete Knox: As it warms, I get some caramel or maybe treacle/toffee notes as well. Consider this a session beer and enjoy the flavors as they emerge. This is worth chasing with a quality Irish whiskey that complements it...maybe Redbreast 12?
Pete Knox is drinking a Kentucky Bourbon Barrel Ale by Lexington Brewing & Distilling Co. at Untappd at Home
Amber, white foamy head. Sweet smell, with a toasted back end. Taste is brown sugar and some vanilla. Not much of an aftertaste, especially given the 8.2%ABV. Pleasantly smooth, no bitterness. So easy to drink, and perfect to have right before a bourbon.

I like them both, because they're different...like pizza and ice cream.
Pete Knox: Had my wife smell this like she always does, and she said it doesn't smell like it would go with what I was eating (a ground pork burrito). I countered with, "it's an amber lager. It goes with everything. It's like the little black dress of beers" lol
