scyrene: Maybe it deserved 4/5.
scyrene is drinking a Corbridge Cider by Stu Brew at Untappd at Home
Single village Northumbrian cider! Hazy pale amber; moderate white head, substantial + persistent for cider. Fairly strong, tart, mildly pithy aroma. High but soft acidity, lemon character; clean, dry, bright + juicy. Not a style I go for but well made.

scyrene is drinking a Jever Fun by Friesisches Brauhaus zu Jever at Untappd at Home
Pale gold; moderate persistent white head. Distinctly ashy aroma. Similar flavour, a bit of smoky-burnt savoriness. Moderate, slightly chemical bitterness. Not great, definitely not fun.

Faintly hazy rich brownish red; modest pale tan head. Mild, tangy, juicy aroma. Tart flavour, gentle sweetness, clean and bright. A bit linear but balanced and appealing.

scyrene is drinking a Fraoch Heather Ale by Williams Brothers Brewing Co. at Untappd at Home
Was sure I'd had this but it must have been pre-untappd. Clear mid gold; modest white head. Sweetish, faintly fruity aroma. Smooth texture, malty flavour, faintest bitterness at the end. Clean but rather straightforward and unremarkable considering.

Hazy orange brown; moderate, fairly shortlived palest lemon head. Sweet biscuity aroma, faint ginger. Thin dry flavour, a touch bittersweet, no more ginger character. You'd be better off with regular ginger ale.
