Don Clark: Next there will be a straw in it along with a maraschino cherry on an umbrella.
Paul A is drinking an Atlantis by North at wagamama
Not surprisingly limited choice of ales at Wagamamma, however this wasn't that bad at all. Is adding ice to a glass destined to hold beer now a thing? Once sorted the resultant offering was totally acceptable modern pale.

Another one of those ales that makes me think what a polished table would taste like. Woody with flat mahogany notes with a touch of Mr Sheen. Gets better once the palate aclimatiyses. Wax on... Wax... Lyrical?

Lci. Apologies for my temporary absence. Lots going on and checking beers in real time does not go down well with the assembled family! Anyway here's a standard ale from my "childhood". Brings Back the memories.
Don Clark: The old “Feeling Foul/Fowl”. Definitely remember drinking this in my university years.
Paul A is drinking an Old Legover by Daleside Brewery at The Corn Exchange (Wetherspoon)
In Leicester for a few hours. Taking a break from the rather well stocked HMV for a spot of lunch. Quite easy to get your leg over this pint, brown sugar sweetness with a surprisingly dry finish. A drink with stile! See what I did there? .. never mind.

One of those magical times when palate and brew are perfectly aligned! Totally quaffable balance of sweetness, citrus and bitterness. Slight toffee notes and a pleasant aftertaste. Excellent ale.
