Terence Freestone is drinking a Maximator by Augustiner-Bräu München at The Cellar
Can't move in this place. Grabbed this from fridge and paid someone ( I think they were barstaff). Drinking from bottle. Not my normal thing. Anyway, another "ator" to my name, and a good one. Pity it's raining, seats outside.

Terence Freestone is drinking an A Problem Shared by Brew York at The Pied Bull
Chester Walls completed in 4 hrs with 2 pit stops along the way. Now for a refresher. Honestly doesn't taste like a Westie, more like a traditional English IPA. Looks like it too, no haze! I like I lots.

Same as last time. Extremely well kept in this pub. Not been here for many years, bit it's not changed. Nice stop on our walk round the Chester Walls.

Tears of the world seems to be appropriate these days! This has a very aromatic and vinous 👃 and flavours of apples, pears, white grapes and just a hint of woodiness. Has a tart and tannic backnote. Glad I got to try a Kertelreiter.

Tony Yardley: What's a Kertywotsit beer? Not come across that before 🤔
Terence Freestone: It's a German cider Tone, and very good it is too. 🍎
Tony Yardley: Drinking from the bottle? Blimey that is unusual for you, from all the tales you've told me from ancient times there was always a glass of some sort in hand, but needs must as the devil drives etc, would've done the same thing meself 🍻

Colin Heywood: As Tone said blimey! Never seen you swig from a bottle. Has to be done though! 😉👍

Terence Freestone: Even had to use my own bottle opener (always got one in my manbag). Took one sip out the bottle then braved the elements back to the hotel. Finished off in our room.
