Oh that’s a hefty vanilla nose. Barrel vanilla, oak, smells great. Solid vanilla flavor, a touch dry, not sweet at all. Oak and some bourbon. Not getting the marshmallow but the vanilla here is quite good.

Really good caramel apple flavor. The vanilla comes through but doesn’t last long. Hint of peanut. The cinnamon is so so light it’s hard to pick up, which is ok. Sweet but not too much. That caramel apple flavor, yum. Overall soft.

Lots of vanilla going on here. Floral, slightly dry, not so sweet vanilla. Unsweetened cake frosting. Barrel really comes out when cold. A little sweetness would help then dryness of the vanilla. Quite nice.

Pours like motor oil. Very sweet nose with lots of cinnamon, brown sugar and some granola. Very thick, extremely sweet, cinnamon dominates with a little brown sugar. Syrupy. Like the mouthfeel but man this thing is a beetus hammer. Covers up the barrel.

Definite fig on the nose, maybe chocolate covered cherries…this is the best part of the beer. Overall the composition is muddled, thin almost watery, barrels are weak. Really wanted the port and Sauternes to shine through.
