Cherries scared me at first because I don’t like fruits in stouts .. but it works. There isn’t a lot of cherry. And it’s balanced a little bit by the vanilla and roasty flavors. Tastes more like a cross between a stout & barleywine than a true stout.

I don’t like NEIPA’s … only got it because of the name. I have no idea how bagels and schmear relate to a NEIPA. Too much of the lychee, tropical fruitiness but good for the bad style that NEIPA’s are.

I think this is the correct batch … the label on the can says it’s 5% ABV. The regular Demi-Tone on Untappd says it’s 6.3% ABV. A little more sour/tart than I’m used to for a saison, but it’s not bad. A little too much blueberry … like a sour cider.
