Chocolate notes override the coffee. Very drinkable dessert beer. FOC can do no wrong.
Paul Deyo is drinking a Gulf Coast IPA by Ghost Train Brewing Company at Ghetto Office
Flavor kind of light, but tasty. Some bitterness lingers on the roof of the mouth.
Paul Deyo is drinking a Lunch by Maine Beer Company at Ghetto Office
It's what's for dinner. A solid IPA
Paul Deyo is drinking an Atomic Torpedo by Sierra Nevada Brewing Co. at Ghetto Office
A solid DIPA. Mild hop bitterness on the tongue, light citrus nose and sweetness. In a 19.2 Oz can, at 9.2 abv could be a recipe for trouble.

Slightly skunky nose-I checked, the can date is fresh. On the palate, much better with good bitter mouthfeel. Two citrusy hops vs two bittering hops don't balance as well as they should. OK.

Paul Deyo is drinking a Traffic Lights Turn Blue Tomorrow by Fat Orange Cat Brew Co. at Ghetto Office
FOC has long been a favorite brewer for DNEIPAs. This one adds a dash of dank on the nose and palate. Eureka hops perhaps lending that hint of the west?

006, license to intoxicate? One of the better DNEIPAs I've had. Good mouthfeel and bitterness to go with the slightly sweet citrus flavor. Galaxy hops.
Purchased at Frugal MacDoogal
Paul Deyo is drinking a Change of Heart Experimental IPA #1 - Cold IPA by Bell's Brewery at Ghetto Office
Untappd calls this a Cold IPA (a local brewer calls that 'style' this year's Brut IPA). I would call this a bicoastal. Stone fruit, hoppy and citrus bitterness. A solid beer. Thanks to Regan for the beershare.

Jazz is big hearted, also just plain big! This beer is also big without being aggressive. Mild hop nose and bitterness, slight citrus, good mouthfeel. Thanks to Regan for an excellent DIPA.
Paul Deyo is drinking a Black Ops by Brooklyn Brewery at Ghetto Office
This one's been around awhile but new to me. Lacks the sweetness, thickness and (thankfully) coffee notes of some BA stouts. Booze is very there but not overpowering. This is a winner.

Paul Deyo is drinking a Shirt Tucker by Mill Creek Brewing Co. at Ghetto Office
A great Lyft day, followed by Lyft Grocery Store Roulette as no breweries were open in Donelson. Like many pale ales, this is a detuned IPA. Surprisingly dank! Amarillo, Citra, El Dorado, Sabra hops.
Purchased at Publix Super Market at The Crossings

A decent NEIPA. Grapefruit bitterness, citrus nose. Slightly hoppy. Calypso, Amarillo, Citra, dry hopped with Amarillo, Citra and Simcoe.

Paul Deyo is drinking a Dry Hop'd Zwickl by Bitburger Brauerei at Ghetto Office
WTH is a zwickl? By definition an unfiltered lager(?). This collab with Deschutes is a crushable European lager with enough flavor notes to make it legit. Good picnic beer.

Have wanted to try this one and found it in cans. Citrus bitterness grows stronger as carbonation fades a little. A good neipa, no sweetness or add ons.
Purchased at Sinkers Wine and Spirits
Paul Deyo is drinking a Glass by Northwoods Brewing Company at Ghetto Office
Beer stock was getting low at the Ghetto Office, so I picked up this niepa. Northwoods is a good brewer, and I've found with Fat Orange Cat and others that the best NEIPAs come from New England. Stone fruit sweetness, slight bitter finish, not bad.
Purchased at Madison Beverage Warehouse
Paul Deyo is drinking a 120 Minute IPA by Dogfish Head Craft Brewery at Ghetto Office
Really, this is a barleywine. After a discussion about whether this should be part of an IPA comparo, I decided to just drink it by itself. Smart move. Wonderful beer.
Purchased at Pour Vous

Paul Deyo is drinking a Snake Handler Double IPA by Good People Brewing Company at Ghetto Office
All hail the return of the king! Snake Handler is back in Nashville! I'll sleep well tonight. Deceptively smooth to the point where I checked to see if they dialed back the abv. Nope!
Purchased at Frugal MacDoogal
Paul Deyo is drinking a Trickster by Green Man Brewery at Ghetto Office
Rude treatment by staff in their taproom in 2019, so I stopped drinking their beer. This one was at a good price and rated well by friends. A decent neipa. Stone fruit, citrus bitterness, and not excessively sweet.
Purchased at Pour Vous
Paul Deyo: Friends rated this beer around the same I had it, at the Saucer a year before my Asheville trip. I posted it but never rated it before.
Paul Deyo is drinking a French Toast by Southern Tier Brewing Company at Ghetto Office
Last of my liquid birthday presents. Really does taste like French Toast! Definitely a dessert beer, in the hands of a lesser brewer it might not be as enjoyable but I liked this one. 8.6 abv, very smooth and sweet.
Earned the Iron Man (Level 8) badge!
This is an easy drinking but full flavored IPA. A hint of stone fruit, some citrus notes, mildly hoppy and bitter. This may be the last check in from the Ghetto Office.
