Crisp but with a slightly pillowy mouthfeel for the style. Solid cereal grain flavor with a bit of a yeasty finish. Light bodied and bright, the grain finishes well with a hint of dankness. More than solid for a Kolsch.

Gotta nudge my previous rating up a notch. This delivers what a milk stout should. Sweet nutty chocolate with a kiss of roast without being at all sugary. Lightly carbonated for more of a crisp feel than most of this style but it’s smooth & very tasty.

Can't believe I've never checked this beer in! I've had it a million times, especially back when I worked at J. Timothy's. Such a solid version of this beer style. I really like Counter Weight.
