Roasty malty, earthy coffee, cocoa, a little dark fruit. Surprisingly well matched to yellow vegetable curry. Photo is the ceiling of Peterborough cathedral, it's hard to look at but so interesting

David Vinson: Karl M. Painted in the first half of the 13th century and from trees felled in Germany before 1238, it's a proper spectacle. Hard to properly appreciate from ground level although there are a few mirrors situated around to reduce neck craning

Brewery vessels lit up like a nightclub. I don't think they are actually brewing here. Having an early dinner and there are already some very drunk people here. Very hoppy for a bitter and very tasty for 3.8%.
