Very drinkable for a 7%er. Quite a deep boozy edge which you often get from these cold ipas, perhaps because of the coldness of the ale. Pithy grapefruity hints from the hops and soft biscuity malts lying underneath.

Didn't expect much but this is a lovely fresh herbal palette cleanser. The beetroot is recognisable on the nose instantly, less so in the mouth but it still imparts a delicate earthiness. Herbal notes to end with a drying bitterness. Great summer saison
