The nose is already thick and dark with loads of wild honey, dried plums and figs with dark chocolate cover. The palate is dense, sweet and spiced like an espresso with sugar, marmite or a px sherry. The finish has some faint bitterness. Amazing balance

Bottle at home, Black/dark brown beer, small head. Aroma is brandy, alcohol, wood, dark fruit, raisin. Taste is the same, the raisins are quite obvious, sweet, honey, boozy. Damn..... this stuff is awesome.

Backlog way back when. Dark fruity, sweet and boozy aroma. Thick body, very sweet mouthfeel with faint bitterness. Sweet caramel maltiness, dark fruits, fairly distinct barrel booziness.
