Being 10 years old it still has quite a bit of character. After 20 minutes in the glass it really opened up and left some of the harsh and sharper notes behind. It's a fine gentleman that just needs a bit of time to open up and really shine.

Do not be afraid of the intimidating nose, for this beer is beautiful on the inside. Although sharp at first, if you let it sit, it will mellow out and become a smooth cocktail of bourbon, vanilla, and caramel.
