Jens Bonne is drinking a Coconut Crema – (Affogato-Inspired Imperial Stout With Coconut, Vanilla, Tonka And Coffee) by Vault City Brewing at Væskebalancen Bar
Yo, this is just pure unadulterated Bounty in a glass. Surprisingly subtle Tonka and coffee, but super nicely balanced coconut and dark chocolate with minimal bitterness. Honestly one of the better stouts I have had from Vault City in a looong time.

Beautiful in its simplicity. Not much to say, really. It has everything I seek in a DIPA: good mouthfeel, balance in sweetness and bitterness and an ABV to give a good buzz. Doesn't excel, but doesn't hurt anyone either.

Do not be afraid of the intimidating nose, for this beer is beautiful on the inside. Although sharp at first, if you let it sit, it will mellow out and become a smooth cocktail of bourbon, vanilla, and caramel.

Interesting to see a viscous stout with a well-behaved ABV - a bit weird, but not bad. A relatively simple coffee stout, not too roasty and overall pleasant, but a filling mouthfeel like that of dense, pastry stout.

Each sip leaves my mouth a dry mess, begging for more. A liquid so saturated with hops, it has turned into fertilizer. Pour this beer in a corner of your garden, and you will grow the biggest, baddest weeds you have ever seen.
