Plenty on the nose - liquorice, dark chocolate, cherries, raisins, toasted coconut and sherry trifle before going slightly woody in the mouth with whisky, chocolate and dark caramel. Dries on the finish with oak with soil, toasted nuts, boozy warmth.

A fairly thin mouthfeel but full of flavour. It’s dark and rich with lots of bitter dark chocolate and roasted coffee alongside subtle vanilla and sweet, fruity dates and mollases with a lovely boozy character as it warms.

A no-nonsense imperial BA stout without the adjuncts but still comes with a lovely, roasted cocoa dark chocolate character, a little coffee and a subtle but present vanilla sweetness from the bourbon barrels. It’s nice cold but nicer as it’s warms!
