Getting to this last can just in time. Nose is pine needles, earthy and floral notes, peanut, caramel/toffee. Palate is OG bitter resin-driven before caramel and toasty malt flavors midway that dry out and are met with more bitterness to close.

Nose is staple oak and cedar wood driven Referend house character, winey and vinous, grape tones. Moderately acidic palate up front. This is all about the wood/barrel character to me more than the grape.
